Multi-Dose IV Delivery Platform

Technology Sectors: ,

The Opportunity: Reducing IV Medication Errors and Infection Risk |

Intravenous medication administration is essential to modern healthcare, yet frequent IV-line access creates opportunities for medication errors, contamination, and bloodstream infections. Current practice often requires multiple syringes, repeated line manipulations, and complex workflows that increase risk in emergency, critical care, and other high-pressure clinical settings.

The Technology & Current Status

SequiDose™ is a multi-dose IV delivery platform that enables multiple medications and flushes to be administered in a predefined sequence through a single IV connection. Using prefilled SequiPods™, the system reduces syringe swaps, minimizes IV-line manipulations, and supports safer, more efficient medication delivery. Initial prototyping has demonstrated a functional syringe and pod system.

Initial Target Applications and Markets

Potential markets include hospital systems, emergency departments, intensive care units, surgical suites, long-term care facilities, military and field medicine, and home healthcare. Long-term opportunities may include partnerships with pharmaceutical and medical device companies seeking safer and more efficient medication delivery solutions.
