Have you ever wanted to work with a national lab? Are you working on a thorny energy-related problem? Maybe you should consider the Department of Energy’s upcoming American-made Challenge. During this open voucher call, the DoE will offer up to 21 teams up to $100,000 vouchers to work with one of eight national laboratories. The participating labs are:
- National Renewable Energy Laboratory
- Sandia National Laboratories
- Pacific Northwest National Laboratory
- Los Alamos National Laboratory
- Ames National Laboratory
- Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory
- Argonne National Laboratory
- Oak Ridge National Laboratory
Winning teams will have the opportunity to work with a national lab for one year after the award has been made, and will be required to put in a match of $25,000 (in cash or in kind). Teams may be small businesses (among other entities) or individuals. For full details, see Open Voucher Call | HeroX.
