The Department of the Air Force released their Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) February 7, 2024. Do not wait until the end of the submission period to submit proposal materials, as computer traffic intensifies near announcement closing.
Proposal Submission Timelines for STTR X24.D PHASE I
- 7 February 2024: DAF begins accepting proposals
- 7 March 2024: Full proposals due no later than 12:00:00 p.m. ET
The maximum amount of funding for this solicitation is $110,000.00. Proposals that exceed this amount will not be considered for an award. The DAF anticipates awarding approximately 100 submissions for this solicitation.

Since this is an STTR, no less than 40% of the research must be performed by the small business corporation, and no less than 30% of the research must be performed by a single partnering research institution.
