Don’t tackle your SBIR/STTR proposal alone! The CTC is Wisconsin’s no-cost SBIR/STTR resource with expertise and grant funding to get you SBIR/STTR awards.
The SBIR Labs program is offered 3-5 times per year, each Lab focused on a specific agency.
SBIR Labs is made possible through the Federal and State Technology (FAST) Partnership Program
CTC is one of 49 organizations to be awarded up to $1 million over 5 years by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to provide specialized assistance to improve SBIR/STTR outcomes for underserved communities.
SBIR Labs has been developed based on learning from the last 3 years of our FAST-focused DoD outreach. This program allows us to explore opportunities outside of Wisconsin’s more popular agencies.
Participants can expect:
- Workshops: Attend an agency specific proposal preparation workshop.
- Writing Sessions: Participate in an intensive writing session with Commercialization and Technology Consultants, Todd Strother and Rob Baranowski.
- Funding: Receive up to $9,000 in state supported grant funding from the SBIR Labs program to work with a vetted grant writing consultant.
- Mentorship: Receive personalized consulting from CTC consultants and our list of service providers.
- Formal Review: Receive actionable feedback from a formal Presubmission Panel Review two weeks before submittal deadline.
You’ll receive targeted support on the following areas of proposal development:
- Registrations
- Letter(s) of support
- Aims/Objectives/Executive Summary
- Budget creation
- And much more!
